Whats your turn around on building a basic website?

Hey there... sorry for the slow reply... haven't logged in until now... I guess my best answer for that would be... it depends. Like my ex used to say all the time, "what is normal"... you'd have to define basic...

Mainly when it comes to getting a web design from mental images to final product, the main hurdles are dialing in the layout and the flow from page to page, how many pages and copy/content.

So with schedules being rather varied, as is common for the type of work the ladies do on this site, the speed can be governed by the amount of time it takes to get a response from my clients when "their decision" on certain details or features need to get approval. If the waiting for responses is taken out of the equation and all the copy has been turned in and colors and fonts have been selected, honestly if I spent a full day on the site, I could finish it in one day.

But it's not common to have all my attention directed towards one task only... so I usually I quote a 2 week turn around, as mentioned in the FAQ section on my site and of course if I can get it done sooner, the clients are tickled pink.
